Heating Guide

THE HONEYBEE DIFFERENCE

The quality of the wax makes a huge difference when it comes to quick, convenient, and gentle waxing.

That’s why our formulations were made to be loving on the skin but tough on hair removal. That said, if you don’t heat the wax properly, all that goodness goes to waste.

Temperature matters.

Too hot and it can burn the skin. Not warm enough, and the wax is too thick to grab every hair. Here’s how you get it right for each of our products.

PROFESSIONAL WAXES - PURE AND PREMIUM RANGES

  1. There are two ways to warm our professional pure and premium wax ranges.

  2. Either, place the wax tin into a wax warmer and heat it for up to 15 minutes.

  3. Alternatively, boil water and take it off the heat. Then dip the wax tin till it’s submerged three-fourths of the way. Let it sit for up to 20 minutes, making sure the wax and water don’t come into contact.

  4. Feel free to stir the wax once in a while.

  5. When the wax starts to look like thick honey, it’s at the right consistency and ready to use.

  6. When you scoop it out with a spatula, it shouldn’t drip. If it’s that runny, you’ve overheated the wax. Let it cool before you apply.

  7. Using hot water to warm the wax? Remember to handle the tin with mittens or cloth, not directly.

STRIPLESS WAX IN A PAN

  1. Our Stripless Wax in a Pan gets the hard stuff out of the way and makes it possible to heat the wax on a stove.

  2. To warm it up, unfold the handle. Place the pan on the stove, keeping the heat low.

  3. Go ahead and use the handle to manage the pan. That’s right. It’s never too hot to handle. Why? Because we've designed with your needs in mind.

  4. Stir the wax until it’s entirely melted, and then take it off the heat.

  5. Wait for the wax to cool a little. When the consistency starts to look like thick, pourable honey, it’s ready to banish your hair.
